Our event managers are supported behind the scenes by a small army of specialist team members who each bring their expertise to the table to bring your dream wedding to life.

 

 

SAMANTHA ︱ OWNER & LEAD PLANNER

After starting her working life in finance, Samantha moved into event planning after moving to France over 20 years ago. Named after her maiden name, Best Events Co. was founded in 2009 with the aim of providing international couples with unparalleled luxury weddings in France.

Priding herself on providing a level of service that is second-to-none, Samantha accompanies all of her clients from their first phone call right through to their first dance. Her experience has allowed her to build an incredible book of contacts across Europe, from Paris to Lake Como and further afield.

Samantha is bilingual, allowing her to work with the very best suppliers in the industry whether they are French or English-speaking.

When you work with Best Events Co. to plan your wedding, Samantha will be your main point of contact throughout the process.

INDIA ︱ CO-OWNER & LEAD DESIGNER

India moved to France when she was a child. After working in luxury real estate in London, India returned to France to work alongside her mum, Samantha, at Best Events Co.

India works alongside couples to bring their dream wedding to life. Her design process always starts with getting to know you two as a couple, what you love, and what makes you tick. She’ll look at your aesthetic as a couple, how you’ve designed your home, where you like to travel… all before making suggestions on how to make your wedding as ‘you’ as possible.

She will work alongside your florist, stationer, and rental companies to create a design for your day, before bringing it all together with 3D plans so you can visualize everything ahead of time.

India is there on the day to ensure all your design elements go to plan, and your wedding looks just as perfect as you imagined.

DONNA ︱ RESEARCHER

Donna is on-hand to help track down illusive vendors so our couples can have exactly what they want on for their wedding.

When couples come to us looking for a luxury wedding venue in France, or when they’re searching for guest accommodation, Donna is on hand to find the best options to suit our clients’ specific needs.

Beyond venues and accommodation, Donna helps us to find the perfect photographer, videographer, and other vendors for each of our couples, so their day is exactly what they imagined.

FIONA ︱ HEAD OF STAFF

Fiona is our Head of Staff and is on hand to ensure everyone is where they need to be on your wedding day.

When the big day rolls around, and it’s finally time to put your plans into action, Fiona will be there to help us ensure your wedding day runs smoothly.

From making sure furniture is set up where it needs to be, to signaling to the musicians that it’s time to play your entrance music, Fiona is there to keep things running to schedule, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy your wedding day.

Fiona is originally from Australia and has lots of adorable rescue dogs. She originally qualified as an architect, so she has a fantastic eye for detail, too!


THE SEASONAL TEAM

Every summer we work with a number of staff members who join us to make your events possible. They help with everything from furniture setup, to assisting with bar work. We also take on a couple of events industry students for their end-of-year internships, to help give the next generation of event professionals hands-on experience.

Samantha’s British parents’ surname is Best, which was the original source of inspiration for our company name. In that sense, for us, Best stands for heritage and belonging.

Of course, Best has its own dictionary definition, which happily coincides with our aims as a brand: to provide our clients with an unparalleled level of service.
