Every property here has been personally visited, walked through, and assessed by our team. This is not a directory. It is a living collection of our favourites so far. We work wherever our clients choose, whether that is a family's private estate, a venue we have known for a decade, or somewhere we discover specifically for them. What follows is simply a window into the places that have earned a place in our confidence.

Lake Como
Three properties on the western shore.
Villa d'Este
Cernobbio, Lake Como, Italy
Built in 1568 as the summer residence of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio. Converted to a hotel in 1873. A fixture on the itinerary of European royalty, heads of state, and the quietly discerning ever since. The Mosaic Garden, with its Renaissance nymphaeum of thousands of hand-placed pebbles forming arabesques and mythological reliefs, provides a ceremony backdrop that stops guests mid-sentence. Twenty-five acres of Baroque gardens descend through fountains, ancient statuary, and flowering azaleas to the water. One hundred and fifty-two rooms, each individually appointed with antique silks, velvets, and marble. The floating pool on the lake. Everything here operates at a frequency that announces itself without ever raising its voice.
Between us
A minimum booking of twenty rooms for two nights is required before any other planning begins. Dining must take place indoors; only the ceremony and aperitif may be held outside. The Mosaic Garden carries a substantial supplementary fee. Music in the dining rooms ends at midnight, though the private d'Este Club offers a late option. The hotel cannot be exclusively hired; other guests will be present. None of this should dissuade you. It should simply be understood from the outset.

Villa Erba
Cernobbio, Lake Como, Italy
The former summer residence of the Erba pharmaceutical dynasty, and later the childhood home of filmmaker Luchino Visconti. One of the few lakefront properties on Como with both the scale and the artistry to host a genuinely large celebration without sacrificing intimacy. The interiors are a succession of frescoed rooms, each in a different palette, each a new discovery. The immense botanical park stretches to the water's edge where a private dock allows guests to arrive by boat. Music is permitted late into the night, which is genuinely rare on the lake.
Between us
No accommodation on site. Guest logistics across nearby Cernobbio hotels require careful coordination. The villa uses a preferred vendor list for catering, florals, and AV. Quality is consistently high, but flexibility to bring in your own team is limited. If large-scale design build is required in the gardens, additional days for setup should be factored into the hire period.

Villa Bonomi
Como, Lake Como
An aristocratic residence set above the lake between Como and Cernobbio, with four acres of Porcinai-designed gardens across multiple sculpted levels, eleven suites, and one of the most commanding views on the water. Best suited to intimate celebrations of up to 100, with a marquee option for larger parties.
The elevated hillside position means transfers from lakeside hotels need coordinating. No dedicated indoor rain backup for marquee events. The perspective, however, more than justifies the climb.
Provence
Vineyards, lavender, stone. Four properties across the Luberon, the Var, and Les Baux.
Château de Sannes
Sannes, Luberon, Provence
Seventy-three hectares of vineyard, olive grove, and formal French garden in the Luberon. Thirty-five minutes from Aix-en-Provence. The château dates from the 17th century and produces its own wine, its own olive oil, and its own eau de parfum. The grounds offer a cinematic range of settings: ceremony beneath century-old magnolia trees, cocktails by the pool, dinner in the 300-square-metre Nomadic Orangery with views sweeping across the lake and vineyards to the Luberon hills. The property has its own small chapel and a working windmill, one of the last in Provence.
Between us
Catering exclusively through Roland Paix, who are genuinely excellent and deeply rooted in Provençal gastronomy. No flexibility to bring your own caterer. The late-night party moves to the bergerie (the old sheepfold), obligatory once outdoor music restrictions begin at 11pm under local regulation. On-site accommodation is limited to 31 guests; the rest need lodging in nearby Lourmarin, Cucuron, or Ansouis.

Le Galinier
Lourmarin, Luberon
An 18th-century bastide at the foot of the Luberon, five minutes from Lourmarin village. Part of the Beaumier hotel group. Self-catering and exclusive use: total creative freedom with your own vendors. Three hectares of landscaped gardens, century-old trees. Sixteen rooms on site (sleeps 32), with Le Moulin five minutes away for additional capacity. Up to 120 guests.
The self-catering model is its greatest strength and its biggest planning consideration. A wedding planner is mandatory. Lourmarin itself is wonderful for guests extending their stay.
Bastide Saint Julien
La Celle, Var
A beautifully renovated Provençal manor in the Provence Verte, with a 500-square-metre Eiffel-style reception hall, gardens, terraces, and a heated pool. The pool house works brilliantly for a next-morning brunch. Fifty to 350 guests. Catering exclusively through Roland Paix.
On-site accommodation limited to 24 guests. For larger celebrations, guest logistics in the surrounding area need coordinating. The pool house transitions beautifully into a late-night dance space.
Château d'Estoublon
Fontvieille, Les Baux-de-Provence
A 16th-century estate at the foot of the Alpilles, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards producing award-winning oils and wines. The formal gardens and stone architecture deliver a distinctly Provençal grandeur. Close to the medieval village of Les Baux-de-Provence and the Carrières de Lumières, giving guests a rich cultural context beyond the celebration itself.
Confirm current event capacity and catering arrangements directly with the property. The Alpilles setting is one of the most photogenic in all of Provence.
Côte d'Azur
Eleven properties between Hyères and Monaco. The Riviera at its most private.
COMO Le Beauvallon
Grimaud, Gulf of Saint-Tropez
A Belle Époque estate on ten private acres above the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Forty-two rooms. A Toyo Ito-designed glass pavilion. A 25-metre pool. Its own beach club with a private pontoon offering eight-minute boat transfers to Saint-Tropez. Over 300 curated artworks. Available exclusively for private hire. What distinguishes Le Beauvallon is the sheer variety of settings within a single estate. The South Terrace for sweeping arrivals. The Winter Garden, a glass-roofed orangery in midnight blue. The waterfront Rotunda for ceremonies. The beach club for barefoot after-parties. A multi-day celebration here never repeats a single view.
Between us
There is a road between the main building and the beach club. Access is via a tunnel beneath it. Not an issue in practice, and guests will not notice, but you should know it is there. Helicopter and private boat arrivals can be arranged. The property comfortably supports three or four days with a different atmosphere each evening.

Cap Estel
Èze-Bord-de-Mer
On its own private peninsula reaching into the Mediterranean. Five acres of terraced gardens falling away on three sides to the sea. A Florentine-inspired mansion with 29 rooms and suites, an infinity pool dissolving into the horizon, and 270-degree views from Nice to Monaco. The Temple of Love, a pavilion set into a romantic enclave overlooking the water, exists for moments of ceremony. When the entire estate is exclusively hired, you are surrounded by the Mediterranean on your own promontory. There is nothing else like it on this coast.
Between us
For celebrations exceeding 80 guests, a tent is required. Due to the peninsula's access, all equipment must be carried in by hand. Additional rental days for build and strike, plus significant logistics fees, should be understood from the outset. For intimate celebrations of 80 or fewer, it is one of the most beautiful settings on the entire coast. For larger parties, factor the logistics into the budget conversation early.

The Maybourne Riviera
Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
The newest jewel in the Maybourne portfolio. Striking modernist architecture emerging from the cliffs near Monaco. Glass-wrapped ballroom with direct views of the principality, a clifftop lawn, Mauro Colagreco's Michelin-starred Ceto, 65 rooms. Full exclusive hire available. Up to 240 seated, 500 for a reception.
Contemporary, not historic. Will not suit the château or villa aesthetic. For those drawn to clean architecture and Maybourne-level service, it stands alone on this coast.
Castel Bay
Hyères, Var
A Belle Époque villa on three hectares above Almanarre Bay, overlooking the Giens peninsula. Art Deco staircase by the Paquin haute couture house, an amphitheatre for ceremonies, Florentine gardens, a grand 300-square-metre terrace. Up to 250 to 300 guests. No accommodation on site. Toulon-Hyères airport is five minutes away, which is exceptional for international access.
The hilltop access road can present traffic challenges in peak summer. The property is exposed to wind. No on-site accommodation, but the proximity to Hyères town and the airport makes logistics significantly simpler than many Riviera venues.
Château de la Napoule
Mandelieu-la-Napoule
A medieval castle on the beach at Mandelieu, facing the Bay of Cannes. Restored by American sculptor Henry Clews, filled with fantastical sculptures and a romantic garden descending to the waterfront. Dreamlike, artistic. Up to 250 to 300 guests. No accommodation on site.
Suits couples who value art and history over conventional polish. Excellent transport links make guest logistics straightforward. Cannes is ten minutes away.
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
Perched on the narrowest point of Cap Ferrat, the sea falling away on both sides. Built in 1912 for Baroness Béatrice de Rothschild. Nine themed gardens, a remarkable art collection, the famous musical fountains. One of the most photographed properties on the Riviera.
A cultural monument with restrictions on installations. Spectacular for ceremony and cocktail. May require a secondary venue for larger seated dining. Parking on Cap Ferrat is tight in season.
Château Saint-Martin & Spa
Vence
Oetker Collection. Twelfth-century Templar history, 40 rooms, two Michelin stars, a Sisley spa, panoramic views from the Alps to the sea. Attracts those who value discretion as much as luxury.
The hillside position above Vence means slightly longer transfers from the coast, but the elevation gives seclusion that is increasingly rare on the Riviera. Best suited to refined, intimate celebrations.
Villa Rocabella
Var coast, near Toulon
A hidden estate perched above the Mediterranean in Provence's Var region, with infinity pools, lush gardens, and sweeping sea views. A venue for couples who want the Riviera without the Saint-Tropez scene: quieter, more private, unmistakably southern.
Toulon is close by. Confirm current capacity and event arrangements directly with the property.
Hôtel Sezz
Saint-Tropez
A design-forward boutique hotel in the heart of Saint-Tropez, all clean lines, contemporary interiors, and a sense of modern luxury that steps decisively away from the Provençal cliché. Best suited to elopements and very small celebrations where the design sensibility matters as much as the setting.
Not a large event venue. For couples who want Saint-Tropez without the Saint-Tropez aesthetic.
Château de Théoule
Théoule-sur-Mer
A privately owned waterfront château on the Estérel coast. Red porphyry cliffs meeting blue water, terraces with panoramic views across the Bay of Cannes. Exclusive hire. A Riviera setting that feels entirely its own.
We are confirming full details. Please enquire with us directly.
Château de la Messardière
Saint-Tropez
The only palace-classified hotel in Saint-Tropez. Hilltop estate above the village, 25 acres of pine-shaded grounds, 117 rooms, and the quiet grandeur that Saint-Tropez achieves when it steps away from the beach club scene. One of the few properties in the area that can host a large celebration with full accommodation.
The hilltop position means shuttle transfers to the village are essential. Hotel-like in feel; suits couples wanting extensive amenities rather than the private villa experience.
Paris
Four addresses. The capital at its most private.
Château de Villette
Condécourt, Île-de-France
Designed by François Mansart, the architect of Versailles. Set within 185 hectares of formal gardens and parkland, forty-five minutes from Paris. The interiors are museum-grade: original tapestries, gilded panelling, a library, salons, and a gallery that photographs like a period film set (it was one, in The Da Vinci Code). Available for full exclusive hire. For couples who want the quintessential French château experience with the depth, the provenance, and the scale to back it up.
Between us
On-site accommodation is limited to 18 guests. Transport and nearby lodging need meticulous planning. Marquee celebrations in the gardens add build and strike days to the hire. The interior spaces are extraordinary but delicate; large-scale installations need careful coordination with the estate. Worth every consideration.

Ritz Paris
Place Vendôme
The name requires no elaboration. Following a four-year restoration, every detail has been refined while preserving the character. Private salons from intimate to grand, the garden courtyard, 142 rooms, and service that operates without fault. From 10 to 500 guests.
Exclusive hire of the full hotel is not available; other guests will be present. The pricing reflects the name and the standard. The execution, however, is genuinely without comparison in Paris.
Hôtel de Poulpry
7th Arrondissement
An 18th-century hôtel particulier steps from the Musée d'Orsay. Fifteen salons across three levels, a landscaped garden, and vaulted cellars that serve as a late-night dance space. Second Empire interiors. Fully privatisable from 80 guests. Up to 200 seated, 400 cocktail.
The vaulted cellar is soundproofed with no curfew on the party. However, air conditioning is inadequate in summer; it becomes extremely warm once guests are dancing. Plan the timing or the season accordingly.
Le Barn
Bonnelles, Rambouillet Forest
A four-star design hotel on a 200-hectare estate in the Rambouillet forest, 45 minutes from Paris. Renovated barns housing 73 rooms, a farm-to-table restaurant, a wellness area with Nordic baths, and a manège that can host up to 350 guests. The aesthetic is contemporary rural: wood, metal, light, space. Available for exclusive hire.
The countryside-near-Paris positioning is its strength. Excellent for couples wanting a rural celebration within reach of the capital. The food is bistronomic and locally sourced; quality can vary. Best experienced in warmer months when the outdoor spaces come alive.
Les Pavillons de Bercy
Paris, 12th Arrondissement
A collection of 19th-century wine merchant pavilions in the Cour Saint-Émilion district, housing a museum of fairground arts and a series of characterful event spaces. Utterly unlike any other Paris venue: theatrical, unexpected, and full of personality. For couples who want their celebration to feel like stepping into a secret world.
The aesthetic is distinctive and will not suit everyone. It is the kind of venue that polarises and delights in equal measure. Confirm event arrangements and capacity directly.
Southwest France
Charente, Dordogne, Bordeaux. Where the pace changes and the landscape takes over.
Domaine des Étangs
Massignac, Charente
Part of the Auberge Resorts Collection. A 13th-century château on 2,500 acres of private forest, lake, meadow, and formal garden. Seventeen suites and six farmhouse cottages. Eighty-one curated artworks and ten large-scale outdoor sculptures. A floating tennis court. Two pools, Roman baths, three libraries, a Cognac lounge. Everything is grown, foraged, or sourced from the surrounding land. This is a property that fundamentally alters your relationship with time. For couples wanting their guests to feel they have stepped into another world entirely, there is no better canvas in France.
Between us
The remoteness is the whole point, but it shapes logistics. Bordeaux airport is approximately two hours by car. Limoges is 45 minutes. Angoulême TGV is reachable from Paris in two hours. Mobile signal is patchy to nonexistent across the estate. A gentle advance note to guests goes a long way. Indoor capacity in the Octave barn is 90; larger celebrations need creative use of multiple outdoor spaces.

Château de La Bourlie
Urval, Dordogne
In the same family for over 800 years. A 13th-century château on 600 hectares in the Dordogne valley, relaunched after a decade-long renovation by Cyril de Commarque and Ortensia Visconti di Modrone. Historical depth layered with contemporary art, eclectic design, and a warmth that feels genuinely personal. Condé Nast Traveller, Vogue USA, and Elle have all taken notice. The lime tree avenue at the far end of the garden is one of the most romantic ceremony settings we know.
Between us
Best suited to couples who value design and character above conventional five-star service. It is a private home, not a hotel. Accommodates up to 44 guests. Can host celebrations of up to around 100. Les Sources de Caudalie
Martillac, Bordeaux
Set within the grounds of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a Grand Cru Classé vineyard in the Graves appellation. A five-star Relais & Châteaux property with 61 rooms, the celebrated Vinothérapie spa (the original), two Michelin-starred restaurants, and a setting that places you quite literally in the vines. For couples who want Bordeaux at its most refined and immersive.
Intimate rather than large-scale. Best for celebrations where the wine, the cuisine, and the spa experience are central to the weekend, not just the backdrop. Bordeaux-Mérignac airport is 25 minutes away.
Château l'Hospital
Portets, Graves, Bordeaux
An 18th-century listed monument in the Graves region, 24 km south of Bordeaux, completely restored and surrounded by a four-hectare walled park and organic vineyard. Modular reception rooms, multiple outdoor ceremony options, and accommodation for up to 49 guests on site. Full weekend privatisation from Friday to Monday. The property produces its own certified organic wines.
The combination of listed architecture, organic vineyard, and full privatisation at this scale is rare in Bordeaux. Confirm current catering arrangements directly. The park is extensive and varied enough for multi-day celebrations.
Yndo Hôtel
Bordeaux
Elopements
A discreet, design-led five-star boutique hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. Just 12 rooms in a restored 18th-century mansion. For elopements and very intimate celebrations of up to 15 guests. Bordeaux itself, from Saint-Émilion to the Cité du Vin, provides an extraordinary canvas for a longer celebration weekend.
Not a large event venue. What it offers is refined taste, privacy, and a Bordeaux location as your base for exploring the wine regions.
InterContinental Bordeaux, Le Grand Hôtel
Bordeaux
Facing the Grand Théâtre. Interiors by Jacques Garcia, rooftop spa, Gordon Ramsay's Le Pressoir d'Argent, 130 rooms. One of the few venues in southwest France that can host a larger celebration with extensive luxury accommodation under one roof.
A five-star city hotel, not a private estate. No exclusive hire. For couples whose guests arrive from multiple countries, the central location and Bordeaux-Mérignac airport (20 min) are significant practical advantages.
Atlantic Coast
Île de Ré. Salt-washed, bleached, understated. A different kind of French luxury.
HR Hôtel & Spa Marin
La Flotte-en-Ré, Île de Ré
A five-star oceanfront hotel in the bay of La Flotte, directly on the beach. Thirty-eight rooms with terraces, a heated pool, a THALGO marine spa, and in-house dining with a chef committed to Île de Ré produce. Modern, polished, and oriented toward the Atlantic rather than the Mediterranean. For celebrations that want the ocean as a constant presence.
Île de Ré is accessed via La Rochelle (airport and TGV), approximately 30 minutes across the bridge. The island has a distinct, unhurried rhythm that rewards multi-day celebrations.
Le Clos Saint Martin
Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Île de Ré
A luxury hotel with 20 rooms and 12 suites steps from the harbour inside the Vauban fortifications. Les Jardins du Clos, their dedicated event property, is a fully renovated 18th-century building with 600 square metres of privatisable space for up to 100 guests. Clarins spa, two heated pools, and the understated elegance that defines the island. The strongest event venue in our Île de Ré collection.
The event space is separate from the hotel, which gives excellent flexibility. Saint-Martin-de-Ré itself is one of the most charming harbour towns in France, providing a natural canvas for guest experiences beyond the celebration.
Hôtel de Toiras
Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Île de Ré
Elopements
A five-star harbourside hotel in a 17th-century residence, with individually designed rooms named after historical figures. Intimate, characterful, full of quiet provenance. The kind of property that rewards a long weekend of exploration with someone you love.
Not a large event venue. For elopements and the very smallest of celebrations. What it offers is depth, discretion, and a harbourside setting that photographs beautifully.
Château du Mesnil
Île de Ré
A large, beautifully aesthetic gîte on the Île de Ré, suited to medium-sized celebrations. Drastically under-exposed compared to the island's hotels, which is precisely its appeal: the kind of property where guests feel they have been let in on a secret rather than shown a brochure. This is a quiet coup in our collection.
We can share details on request. This is not a venue you will find on the standard circuit, and that is the point.
