Best Is more than a name, it’s our family.

It is a family name, and we are a family business. Samantha's maiden name. Her parents, India's grandparents, are the current Mr and Mrs Best. The name is a reminder, to us, of where this business comes from and who we are doing it for. When you see our name, you are not reading a slogan. You are reading a surname that has been part of our family for generations.
"Planning a wedding in France while living in Los Angeles felt overwhelming from the start, especially since we were never able to visit the venue beforehand. We knew we needed a planner we could completely trust." — Tamara & Jordane
Samantha Bottomley
Samantha is the person our clients know best. She leads the planning process from A to Z: timelines, vendors, budgets, and flawless execution on the day. Before moving to France, she worked in financial services at one of the UK's largest banks, a background that shaped her approach to managing complex budgets, client relationships, and the kind of detail where precision matters.
After more than two decades in France, she understands the country, its culture, and its systems with the fluency that only comes from building a life here. She knows what it means to trust someone in a foreign country to get things right on your behalf, and she takes that responsibility personally.
On the day, Samantha is the calm at the centre of the operation. She oversees every vendor, manages the master timeline, and ensures that what was planned is what happens. If something needs to change, she has already anticipated it.
India Bottomley
India oversees creative vision and commercial strategy. After several years in ultra-high-net-worth property law at a leading London firm, she brought a standard of professional rigor uncommon in the wedding industry. Whether completing a £100 million property sale or overseeing a seven-figure celebration, the fundamentals are identical: precision, discretion, and the understanding that when a client places their trust in you, there is no acceptable margin for error.
She leads the design process for every wedding, working closely with each couple to develop a visual concept that feels unmistakably theirs. No two weddings look alike, because no two couples are alike.
On the day, India ensures plans become reality, doing whatever it takes. If that means crawling across a dance floor to discreetly fix an edge, so be it. The client sees the result, never the work.
In 1999, Samantha moved to France with her young daughter and built a business helping immigrants navigate French administration: paperwork, processes, the critical details that determine whether you feel at home in a new country or lost in one. It was work built on empathy, patience, and the belief that helping someone through an unfamiliar system is one of the most valuable things you can do.
When a client asked her to help plan her daughter's wedding, she brought the same care and the same rigour. India, still a child, was there from the first event. Arranging décor, solving problems, learning the craft beside her mother.
That was 2009. Since then: over 200 weddings across five countries, with clients and guests from more than a dozen nations and millions of euros in budgets managed every season. The principle has never changed. We exist to serve the people who trust us.
We take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives our full attention. Begin a conversation.
