130 guests · Two-day celebration
Tamara and Jordane came to us from Los Angeles. They had never visited the venue. They needed a planner they could trust completely, and after interviewing many, they chose us.
The celebration unfolded across two days and two settings: an intimate dinner in the centre of Reims on the first evening, followed by the wedding day itself at Château de la Marquetterie, a privately owned estate in the Champagne region. The contrast between the two — convivial on the first night, grand and romantic on the second — gave the weekend a sense of journey.
The design direction was dramatic and deeply romantic. Think Lana Del Rey: rich tones, candlelight, a sense of cinematic beauty running through every detail. India developed the visual concept in close collaboration with Tamara, and the result was a celebration that felt as intentional as it was beautiful.
The most meaningful challenge was also the most personal. Tamara and Jordane wanted a Jewish ceremony on a Saturday (during Shabbat), which made finding an officiant extraordinarily difficult. After reaching out to what felt like every rabbi in France, we found a wonderful rabbi in the UK willing to fly in and conduct the ceremony. It was untraditional, it mattered deeply to them, and we made it happen.
Throughout the planning process, we held weekly meetings, often with accompanying presentations outlining design progress and logistical updates. Tamara was planning from the other side of the world, and our job was to make that distance disappear. By the wedding day, it had.
"We knew we needed a planner we could completely trust, and after interviewing many, we are beyond grateful that we chose them. From the beginning, it was easy to place our full trust in them. They exceeded our expectations in every way." — Tamara & Jordane
From the couple…
"We truly can't say enough good things about Samantha and her team. Planning a Jewish wedding in France while living in Los Angeles felt overwhelming from the start, especially since we were never able to visit the venue beforehand. We knew we needed a planner we could completely trust, and after interviewing many, we are beyond grateful that we chose Samantha.
From the beginning, Samantha and the Best Events team were incredible, and it was easy to place our full trust in them. They exceeded our expectations in every way.
Throughout the planning process, we had weekly meetings that were always organized, often with accompanying presentations outlining design ideas and logistical progress. Samantha stayed on top of budgets, presented thoughtful ideas, and truly listened to our feedback. We felt heard every step of the way, and she helped us bring nearly everything on our wish list to life.
Her daughter India led the design, and the vision she created was beautiful, intentional, and felt so true to us and perfectly aligned with the Pinterest board we had made. The wedding turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined.
One of the most meaningful things they accomplished was finding a rabbi willing to fly in and officiate our Jewish wedding on a Saturday. While untraditional since it was during Shabbat, this was incredibly important to us logistically. Samantha worked tirelessly to find someone and ultimately made it happen. After what felt like reaching out to every rabbi in France, she found a wonderful rabbi from the UK who flew in to officiate our wedding.
Samantha and her entire team made the experience feel manageable and enjoyable, and because of them we were able to fully trust the process and be completely present on our wedding day, which turned out beyond our wildest dreams. We are endlessly grateful and could not recommend Samantha and the Best Events team more."
