For many of our clients the prospect of planning their wedding abroad is exciting but also daunting. They often have very busy lifestyles which make setting aside enough time to plan the wedding of their dreams, and this is why they choose to enlist us to not only take the pressure off and make wedding planning more fun, but also to ensure that every base is covered ahead of their wedding day.
What we do for our couples
Initial contact usually takes place by email, so our first task is to schedule a call at a convenient time for you, after work or over the weekend, we are completely flexible. The first call takes around 30 minutes, is complimentary, and allows us to get a feel for the level of help you will be needing from us. We will discuss pricing options during this call, and will provide you with a quote by email after.
Once you have decided that you would like us to plan your event in France, we will start contacting vendors, either directly from our black book, or will carry out a search to find the very best suppliers to suit your needs. We will keep you updated on a weekly basis (or more or less regularly, as you prefer) and schedule check in calls every six weeks or so. As the event gets closer, more frequent contact is often required, and we also often carry out site visits with suppliers on your behalf.
On the day, we will be there to greet all of the suppliers (we even give them tea and coffee!) and to oversee everyone setting up. We will assist the florist with decorating the venue and will pop in to check that everything is running smoothly for the bridal party. We ensure the day runs to schedule, and liaise with suppliers if any element of the day needs to be moved back, usually because the speeches have overrun! We will stay until the first dance, or until your guests are all safely on their way home - it’s up to you.
